The RURAL NORTHWEST HEALTH project involved the construction of a new Aged Care in Warracknabeal, Victoria. The project included the establishment of all new site services reticulated around the existing Hospital site to enable the construction of Stage 1 and Stage 2 development which was undertaken in 2014. The project included 60 new Aged Care Beds and construction of a new Support Services Facility including Commercial Kitchen for the production of internal and external food services to the local region. The project included the installation of a 360,000 litre central rainwater collection and treatment system and installation of an on site grey water treatment facility to enable the recycling of water for landscape irrigation which was a critical priority for the site being located in a semi arid region.
