The OAMARU OPERA HOUSE project was the restoration of the beautiful 1800’s “White” building in the centre of Oamaru, on the south island of New Zealand. The redevelopment included bringing the building into the 21st century with the installation of state of the art building services and theatrical equipment. The scope included complete new light and power reticulation; new air-conditioning systems designed to meet the strict acoustic requirements of theatres, new fire detection and EWIS systems fire sprinklers.
